This Indenture made and entered into this 27th day of July One thousand eight hundred and sixty five between William Moore, of the county of Montgomery state of Kentucky, John V Moore, Kelly Moore, Nancy Harris, of the county of Bourbon State of Kentucky, Polly Call of the county of Hendricks State of Indiana, Willis H Adair, John R Adair, Polly Ann Hester, Louisa J Hopson and Lynna A Adair of the county of Adams State of Illinois party of the first part and James W Mitchell and Rebecca his wife party of the second part Witnesseth: That the said party of the first part for and inconsideration of the sum of ?thirty? dollars per acre, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have sold and by these presents do bargain sell and convey unto the party of the second part, their individual prospective interest of the seven eighths part of a certain parcel of land now owned and possessed by John Moore Senr.  the said land lying and being in the counties of Montgomery & Bourbon State of Ky., on Plumlick and is bounded as follows, to wit: Beginning at a stone corner to John James R Wilson thence S 46 3/4 E 9 81/100 poles to a stone in a line of said Wilson, thence S 45 degrees 08 (with what looks like a superscript 4) W 87 34/100 poles to a stone corner to Walker Moore thence S 36 1/4 E 92 42/100 poles to a stone near a ded (sic) mulberry corner to same, thence S 36 3/4 W 47 24/100 poles to a stone corner to John Moberly thence N 56 3/4 W 14 25/100 poles to a stone in the road corner to said Moberly, thence along same road, N 44 3/4 E 6 1/10 poles to a stone in said road, thence N 34 3/4 W 43 6/10 poles to a stone in said Moberly, thence N 21 3/4 W 53 poles to a stone corner to same, thence N 65 1/4 E 41 96/100 poles to a white oak, thence S 53 1/4 E 31 35/100 poles to a red oak thence N 51 3/4 E 84 52/100 poles to the beginning.  containing, Sixty five (65) Acres Two (2) Roods & thirty four (34) poles ofland with all the appurtenances and improvements thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining is hereby conveyed to the said James W Mitchell and Rebecca his wife their heirs and assigns forever.
And the said party of the first part do covenant and and(sic) agree to defend the title of the same against the claim or claims of any or all persons whatsoever. In testimony whereof they have herunto set their hands and seals the day and date first above written.

His children from his marriage to the "widow" Shryock (as noted in Perrin's bios, but shown by marriage record on Ancestry.com to be Rebecca Shrowk and census for 1860 to be Rebecca) would be Walker(from the 1860 census) Kelly, and Rebecca Mitchell.
