NOTE: I have tried to be as accurate as possible in the transcription of this 
document in regard to spellings, names and initials, and punctuation.  You may 
find obvious misspellings which I may or may not have noted by "sic",as I just 
sometimes found too many.  And, within the same document, you may find different 
spellings for the same name which I made no attempt to discern which was the 
correct spelling.   I recommend, however, that you look at the original 
document to verify all.  If you would like a scan of the original copy, I would be glad to

This indenture made and entered into this the Fifth day of November 1851 
between James John Nathan and William Alexander of the first Part and James 
Turley of the second part all of the county of Montgomery and state of Kentucky, 
Witnesseth: That for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars to 
us The party of the first part Cash in hand paid, The receipt of which we do 
hereby acknowledge, hath this day granted, bargained, sold, aliened and conveyed 
and do by these presents grant, bargain, sell, alien convey and confirm unto 
the party of the second part, a certain Boundary or tract of land, Being one 
undivided half of James Rossetts 77 acre tract immediately above the place 
owned by Mrs Ringo and adjoining thereto and also adjoining the Lands owned 
by David Robinsons heirs, and running up the creek to said Alexander's 
and is the same Land formerly owned by ...
