This is to certify that the bearer, Mr. Joseph How,
having passed through the usual trials preparatory
to licensure, was licensed in October 1792 by this
presbytery to preach the gospel of our Lord Jesus
Christ. As he signifies an intention of travelling
out of the bounds of the presbytery, he has our
permission to do so, & is hereby recommended to
any Christian society where providence may order
his lot, as a licentiate in good standing. 

Given in open presbytery at Bullocks Creek Church.
