Shirley Attorney in Fact: Randal R Gordon to William V Gordon: Montgomery County KY Date: approx 1856 Deed Book 26 Page 96 The following partial document was on a page dated 30 October 1856 Know all men by thesse presents that I Randal R Gordon now in the county of Montgomery and in the state of Kentucky, but being on the eve of departing from the said commonwealth, have this day for divers reasons, me thereunto moving nominated and appointed and do by these presents nominate constitue and appoint my friend & brother William V Gordon of the said county of Montgomery and State of Kentucky my wise and lawful attorney in fact for me and in my name to attest to all all business for me of my and every kind and description in which my interest may be in anywise involved in said county or state, and whereever it may be necessary to institute and prosecute or defend any and all such in law or equity where my said interests may be involved, to employ counsel if need be & do all other acts which may be required in that behalf.
