An epidemic of measles hit Mt. Sterling.

A. Bush sold his clothing store to J. Shradyki. Mike Looney and John Punch were
employed as salemen.

M.H. Jouett 50, died at his home in the county.

Mrs. Nancy Derickson, 66, died at her home near Bunker Hill, a week after the
death of her son, Dr. C.T.Derickson.

Taylor Hall died of pneumonia.

A.J. Cassidy sold his residence on High to W.E. Cassidy for $3,500.

Dogs killed 20 head of sheep belonging to Ben. F. Perry of Spencer.

J. Ed Gaitskill purchased the 260-acre Tracy farm near Sewell's Shop for $14,000
cash.

Miss Effie Lane is attending the millinery market in Cincinnati.
