From the Danville Advocate Messenger, 18 Dec 02 LANCASTER -- Services for Charles Butler Dale Jr., 62, of Lancaster Road, Stanford, will be 1 p.m. Friday at Spurlin Funeral Home by the Rev. Barry Jeffries. Burial will be in Camp Nelson National Cemetery. He died Monday at University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center, Lexington. Born Feb. 8, 1940, in Montgomery County, he was the son of Flora Jackson Dale of St. Matthews and the late Charles B. Dale Sr. He was a retired employee of Trane Co. in Lexington and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Lexington. He was an Army veteran. Survivors include his wife, Sharon Dale of Stanford; and a daughter, Janice Rowe of Stanford. Pallbearers will be Dickie Kidd, David Sowder, Buckwheat Gilbert, Jim Reed and Reed Parsons. Honorary pallbearers will be Kenny Adams and members of Lancaster Baptist Church Men's Sunday School Class. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday.
