Three deaths in one family within a week is enough to make the most hardened
heart melt in sympathy for the sorrowing ones.We, last week, noted the demise of
a son who was the staff of his loving mother and elsewhere , in this issue, we
tell of that loving mother having gone to join her lost one and now it is the
aged grandmother who had lived out more than the alloted span, has gone to join
daughter and grandson, who so shortly preceded her. Mrs Peggy Johnson" Aunt
Peggy" as she was called by all the young people of her neighborhood, on Friday
night, March 27th, laid down the heavy burden of years and followed daughter and
grandson over the river. She had reached the good old age of 91 years. Burial in
Bunker Hill burying-ground Sunday.
