Obit. Mt. Sterling Avocate Feb. 11,1970
                    Mrs. Emma Lee Jones
  Mrs. Emma lee Jones,Sr, died Friday at the Ford Hospital, Detroit, Michigan, 
after a long illness.
  A native of Bath County and former resident of Mt. Sterling,she was a member 
of the First Christian Church here.
  Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Doroth Davis, Cincinnati, Ohio, four sons, J. 
R. Jones, Indianapolis, Ind., Gilbert Jones, Detroit, Mich.,Leslie Jones, Jr. 
Boca Raton, Fla., and Vernon Jones, Mt Sterling, a sister Mrs. Eunice Sorrell, 
mt. Sterling; three half-sisters, two half-brothers,eight grandchildren and 
one great grandchild.
  Services were conducted by Rev. James Seal at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the 
eastin-Richey Funeral Home. Burial was in the Machpeliah Cemetery.
