Eddie Leggett, 65, of West Elkton, Ohio, died August 18 in the Middletown
Hospital following a long illness.

A native of Montgomery County, he was a son of the late Thomas and Mahala Susan
Leggett and a member of the Gratis Church of God.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Thelma Leggett; two daughters, Mrs. Don Stubbs,
Gratis, Ohio, and Mrs. Darrell Bullock, Maryland; two sisters, Mrs. Arthur
Carter, West Elkton, Ohio, and Mrs. Lane Stockdale, Montgomery County; a brother
, Charlie Leggett, Montgomery County; a half-brother, Berry Elam, North
Middletown, and five grandchildren.

Services were conducted at the Zimmerman Funeral Home. Burial was in the West
Elkton Cemetery.
