Henry Jackson Norris, 49, Route 1, died at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Mary Chiles
Hospital after a 2 year illness.

He was a native of Bath County , a member of the Christian Church and a veteran
of World War 2.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Beatrice Conkright Norris; three daughters, Mrs.
Dallas Willoughby; Misses Linda Sue and Lisa Ruth Norris at home; four sons,
Donald Norris, with the U.S. Air Force in Dover, Del.; Wayne, Ronald and Richey
Norris at home; a sister, Mrs. Allen Bailey, A brother Sherman Norris and a
grandchild.

Services were conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at the Eastin-Richay Funeral Home by
the Rev. George Richardson and the Rev. L. Darrell Johnson. Burial was in the
State Valley Cemetery.
