NP was the husband of Elizabeth Tipton (1806-1866) and the father of James D, 
Robert Letcher (Lecter), Dr. Waller, and Samuel Tipton.  He lived from 
12/02/1809 to 10/05/1900.  He was married 03/15/1832 in Estill, KY.
