Estridge was brought to Kentucky in 1789 by his father, Thomas Daniel,
who was in tax lists in Madison (moved in 1794 to Clark), Clark and
Montgomery Counties. Estridge appeared in Montgomery County tax lists
starting 1804 later served in Simon Gillaspie's company as a corporal.
Estridge first got land for his service in 1850 and then his widow got
more land in 1855.
