Moore, Lenora M. (Pettitt)

Lenora Mae Moore, 86, of College Corner, Ind., died Tuesday, April 20,1999 
in Riley, Ohio.

Born May 27, 1912, in Morgan County, Ky., she was the daughter of John and 
Isabelle (Brown) Pettitt. She was a member of Westgate Church of God in Oxford.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Clarence Moore, in 1953; 
her second husband, Edward Shackelford, in 1978; a son, Charles Moore, in 1988; 
a daughter, June Helton, in 1998; four sisters; three brothers; and three grandchildren.

Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Margaret and Lewis Tomlin of Laurel, Ind., 
Phyllis and William Hardy of Cynthiana, Ky., Sylvia and Howard Weatherly of Eaton, 
Carol and Patrick Norris of Lawton, Okla; a son and daughter-in-law, Wilbur and Doris 
Moore of Huntington, W. Va.; 21 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and 
great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services were Friday, April 23, at Barnes Funeral Home-Eaton Chapel, 
with the Rev. Clarence Brannon officiating. Burial was in Concord Cemetery in Dixon 
Township, near Eaton.
