Marcum, Dora M. "Rita" (Leach)

Dora M. "Rita" Marcum, 67, of Ohio 503 South, West Alexandria, died Sunday, 
Aug. 2,1998 at Reid Hospital in Richmond, Ind.

Born Aug. 9, 1930, in West Liberty, Ky., she was the daughter of William Glover 
and Ina Myrtle (Short) Leach. She had attended Germantown High School, and 
had retired from Westview Acres Nursing Home in Eaton.

Survivors include three sons, Michael Marcum and Larry Marcum, both of 
Charlotte, N.C., and Jeff Marcum of Gratis; five daughters, Alene Heindl of 
West Alexandria, Connie Adkins of West Palm Beach, Fla., Patricia Johnson of 
Olean, N.Y., Lynda Dyer and Kimberly Collins, both of Eaton.

Also surviving are 22 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; her mother, 
Myrtle Leach of Eaton; two sisters, Anita Leach and Dorothy Thomas, both of 
Eaton; two brothers, Harold Leach of Connersville, Ind., and Gary Leach of Vandalia.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 5, at Lindloff-Zimmerman 
Funeral Home, West Alexandria, with the Rev. Lowell T. Spencer officiating. 
Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, West Alexandria.
