Heart Attack is Fatal to Farmer
Wayne D. Sargent, 40, farmer of the Blaze section, died suddenly of a heart 
attack Monday evening about 5:30 o'clock.
Mr. Sargent had gone after the cows and when he did not return of the family 
went to look for him and found him unconscious in a field.  He died in an 
ambulance while being brought to West Liberty.
He was born at Blaze May 20, 1920, a son of Dorton and Ritta Barnett Sargent.
Funeral was conducted Thursday afternoon at the Ditony Ridge school house by 
Rev. Milford Whitt of Wrigley and interment was made in the family cemetery near 
Blaze with Potter Funeral Home in charge.
He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Ritta Sargent of Blaze; his wife, Novella 
Roberts Sargent, and the following children:
Gary Lee, James Dorton, Linda Carol, Irma Dean, Kim Dewayne, Shanell Ray, Tony 
Lynn and Charlene Gale, all at home.
