SMITH, William F. Age 89, of Fairfield, passed away Saturday, February 10, 
2007. He was born in Campton, Kentucky, August 19, 1917, the son of Willy Lee 
and Sarah Smith. He worked for Armco Steel for 39 years, retiring from the 
Finishing Department. His wife of 61 years, Oretta, preceded him in death in 
2000. He loved his family, and getting together with his old Armco buddies. He 
is survived by a daughter, Phyllis J. (Robert) Henry; a son, Kenneth W. 
(Julie) Smith; six grandchildren, Cynthia Goodman, Jamie Rowe, Celeste Conlin, 
Brian Smith, Angela Amoruso, and Jared Smith; 2 step-grandchildren, Scott 
Lickert and Stacy Lickert; 10 great- grandchildren, Randy, Kaitlyn, Lance, 
Aaron, Samantha, Ian, Zane, Drew, Madison, and Hunter; a great-great-grandson, 
Colin; a sister, Lula Bowling; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may 
call on Tuesday, February 13, from 12 noon until 2:00 P.M. at the Breitenbach-
McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral 
home with Pastor Roger Green officiating. Burial will follow in Woodside 
Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions to the American Cancer 
Society.
