Know all men by these presents that I Richard Nelson Alcock of the County of
Muhlenberg for and in consideration of the assignment of Thomas Grayson's
certificate for the two hundred acres of land whereon I live, the State
price to be paid by me. Have bargained and sold and by these presents doth
grant, bargain and sell unto the said Thomas Grayson a certain Negro girl
named Jude. Which said Grayson has had in his possesion for about three
years past. And which Negro I warrant to said Grayson and his Heirs &c, and
from the claim or claims of all and every other person whatsoever. In
Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal this 29th day of
September 1801.

The within Bill of sale between Richard Nelson Alcock of the one part and
Thomas Grayson of the other part was acknowledged by the said Richard, a
