Witnesseth that for and in consideration of ten dollars to me in hand paid and also in consideration of my natural affection towards the said Moody, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged. I have given, granted, bargained and sold and by these presents do give, grant and sell, alien and convey unto Moody Holliman, his heirs &c. a certain tract or parcel of land containing two hundred acres lying and being in Muhlenberg County on Nelson's Creek and bounded as followeth. To wit. Beginning at a water beech and white oak Marked I B standing on the North side of said creek. Running North two hundred and forty poles to an elm(?) and gum(?) then East fifty poles to an Ash and Hickory then south sixty eight East seventy poles to a hickory then East fifty poles to a sassafras gum and white oak then South one hundred twenty poles to an ash and dogwood in an old line then west forty one poles to a corner a white oak and hickory then south with said line ninety four poles to a beech hickory and gum then west one hundred sixteen poles to the Beginning, with it's appurtenances. To have and to hold unto the said Moody Holliman, his heirs, &c. forever. The said Wilson Holliman for himself and heirs doth covenant to and with the said Moody and his heirs to warrant and forever defend the said tract of Land as aforesaid unto the said Moody, his heirs &c. against the claim of him the said Wilson Holliman and against the claim or claims of all person or persons whatsoever claiming under from by or through him.
