Bailey of the County & Commonwealth aforesaid of the other part. Witnesseth that the said James Weir for and in consideration of the sum of forty dollars to him in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained and sold & by these presents doth grant bargain & sell unto the sd. Bennet D. Bailey & his heirs forever a certain Lott or parcel of ground in the town of Lewisburgh and County aforesaid Known and designated on the plan of said Town now of record in the Clerks Office in Muhlenberg County by No. 4 binding on Water Street being 94 feet in front & extending 188 feet back agreeably to the meets & bounds as expressed on said plan with all and Singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining unto the said Bennet D. Bailey & his heirs **. To have and to hold the said Lott or parcel of ground with all and singular the appertenances therewith belonging or in any wise appertaining unto the said Bennet D. Bailey & his heirs and assigns forever against the Claim of them the said James Weir and Ann his wife their heirs &c. & against the Claim of all and every other person or persons whatsoever claiming by, from or under them or any of them (but not against the claim of any other person) shall & will forever Warrant & defend by the presents.
