Calling to mind the mortality of my body, and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die, do make and ordain this my Last will and testament: that is to say: principally and first of all, I give and Recommend my sole into the hand of Almighty God that gave it, and my body I recommend to the earth to be buried in a decent Christian burial at the direction of my Executors: nothing doubting but at the general Resurection I shall Receive the same again, by the mighty power of God, and as touching such worldly estate wherewith it has pleased God to bless me in this life, I gave devise and dispose of the same in the following manner and form. First of all I gave and bequeath to my Grand Children; the sons and Daughters of Willis Benefield, his Daughter Dica, his son Benjamin, his Daughter Elizabeth, his son Henderson, his son Willis, his son Wily, his son Anderson, his daughter Saly, his daughter Poly; four fether beds and furniture; one chest, two spinning wheals, three puter dishes, five puter basins one Dozen of puter plates one froh(?) one oven two skilets one coper coffe pot one Iron froh(?) rack(?) two Smithen Irons one pier tongs two set of pot hooks to be equally divided among my above named Grand Children after the decease of my daughter Milly Benefield, but my daughter Milly is to make use of the above named property her lifetime but is not to sell nor gave it away. I also ordain constitute and make my son George Hill as one of my sole Executors of this my last will and testament and Wilson Handerson(?) as the other to execute this my Last Will and testament after the death of daughter Milly Benefield and I do hereby utterly disalow Revoke and disanul all and every other former testaments Wills Legacies bequeath and Executors by me in any wise before mentioned, Wiled and bequeathed, Ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my Last will and testament in Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this forteenth day of November one thousand Eight Hundred and Sixteen.
