I Joseph Groves of the aforesaid State and County, considering the uncertainty of this World life and being of sound and perfect mind and memory, Blessed be Almighty God for the same. I do make and publish this my Last Will and Testament in manner and form following. (that is to say). I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Peggy all and singular My lands and tenements and all the rest residue and remainder of my personal estate, goods and chattles of what kind and nature soever I give and bequeath the same to my said beloved Wife during her widowhood and no longer. But at the day of her marriage she also have a childs part and I do hereby appoint my said wife sole executrix of this my last will and testament, hereby revoking all other former Wills by me made. In witness whereof I have herewith set my hand and seal the second day of February In the year of our Lord One Thousand eight hundred Twenty One.
