I Francis Rice, wife of William Rice *r. late of Muhlenberg, deceased. Calling to mind the Mortality of all flesh once to die, and being advanced in age and in low health of body but of sound Mind and Memory do make and appoint this my last Will and Testament in Manner and form following. (To Wit) 1st. That whereas My husband William Rice late of Muhlenberg County Kentucky, deceased did leave Certain property to Me Intestate and not know in his will, to be by me disposed of in his will as I thought proper. to Wit: One Negro boy known by the name of Hornton(?) and child of Mariah. Which I dispose of in manner and form following. My will and desire is that said boy be sold and the money arising from said Sail be equally divided between Dabney(?) C Rice, son of Nathan Rice, & Maria Rice, daughter of Mary Rice late Mary Haddon(?) to be possessed by them after my death. 2nd. The Bond that is due me from my son Claborne Rice should their be any ballance at My death, I wish it to be collected of him and divided equally amongst Mary Rice late Mary Haddon, Anne Rice and Matthew Rice three of my children. 3rd. Wher as I have purchased a mare known by the name of gin since the death of my husband. I give and dispose of her to my grand Daughter Francis Rice daughter of Ezekiel Rice to be by her possessed at my death. And lastly I do hereby constitute and appoint Henry W.(?) Black sole Executor of this my Last Will and Testament heretofore made. Ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my Last Will and Testament.
