I Jacob Shut of the County of Muhlenberg and State of Kentucky being weak in body but of Sound mimery do this 21st day of July eighteen hundred and seventeen make and publish this my last Will and Testament in the manner following. That is to say first I leave unto my beloved wife Elizabeth Shut the plantation whereon I now live. That is to take in the Orchard where the fence now Runs with the Stable, Farmyard, Meadow and pasture field. During her natural life. And unto my son Jacob Shutt, five hundred acres of land to his Share. One hundred acres out of William Faiths(?) Surveys and one hundred acres out of Moses Gipsons(?) Survey, Eastward of my plantation. And unto my son Abraham I will two hundred acres out of the same two tracts. One hundred out of each. The part wearon He(?) now lives. And my two sons to have my farming tools ***** and F**ming tools. After my wifes decease. My two daughters Mary and Susannah to have one hundred and fifty acres being now lying in Daviess County on the waters of long fall. To be divided between them. And the House hold and Kitchen furnature, beds, loom, and also hogs, Cattle and horses, to be divided amongst my two daughters at my wife's deceased.
