First of all I resine my body to the dust from whence it came hoping that I shall rise at the resurrection of the just. And I commit my sole to God who gave it. I being low in body but in right mind and sences. I make this my Last Will and Testament. I will to my wife Nancy Stroud either her lifetime or widowhood. Also to my Wife Nancy Stroud I will from the land by the Spring concluding Orchards(?) bilding and the field where the what(?) is now, her lifetime or widowhood and the Snap(?) Mare to my wife Nancy Stroud her lifetime or Widowhood. Also I will to my wife Nancy Stroud one old Brindle Cow and Calf. Also three Sows and pigs her lifetime or Widowhood. Also I will to my wife Nancy Stroud Saddle and Bridle her lifetime or widowhood one years provisions in corn and Meat. And I will to my Daughter Fanny Martin one cow and calf and heffer, one bed and bedstead and furniture. Also one dozen of plates and three spoons and four Bowls and two Sets tea cups and Saucers. Also the *in* Mare Saddle and bridle. Also four Sows and twenty three pigs and two three years old Barrons(?) and five eighteen months old. Also to collect of Bartholomew Lotts estate deceased that is due to pay the heirs of same as they *****. And also I will to my wife Nancy Stroud bed and bedstead and furniture her lifetime or widowhood and also the balance(?) of place to be rented out and ***** to be hired out till the youngest comes of age and the money put out on Interest yearly, and when the younges comes of age then Sold and divided among them Equally. Also horse, cattle, hogs, Sheep, farming utensils house hold and kitchen furniture and all the corn to be sold for twelve months interest credit and the money put out on interest till the youngest comes of age then Equally divided among them and the property that is Willed to my daughter Fanny Martin to be part of her portion amongst the rest of the Heirs and appoint John Stroud and Richard Martin executor here to this last will and desire. December County Court 1824 The foregoing last Will and Testament of Lott Stroud deceased was produced to Me in my office on the day and date aforesaid, by one of the Executors therein named and fully proven by the Oaths of John Stroud and Uriah Sullivan two of the Subscribing Witnesses therein named which is thereupon ordered to be recorded.
