I James NICHOLS and Sarah NICHOLS his wife of Nelson County and state of Kentucky for and in consideration of the love goodwill and affection which I have and bear towards my loving son James NICHOLS of Muhlenburg County and state of aforesaid have given and granted and by these presents do freely give and grant unto the said James NICHOLS his heirs executors and adm one Negro woman named Sellar and her increase, one Negro boy named Parrot, one Negro boy named Clark, one Negro boy named Floyd, after both of our deaths to him his heirs executors or adm forever. And to my daughter Rachael EIGLEHEART of Muhlenburg County and state aforesaid we give her, her heirs executors adm one feather bed, one horse and one cow and calf after both our deaths. To have and to hold the above foresaid Negroes unto James NICHOLS his heirs executors adm forever. In witness whereof we have here unto set our hand and affixed our seals this 5th day of Oct 1811.
