NEWS ITEMS:  DUNCAN, Sanford, 1831, Nelson Co.

SANFORD DUNCAN, born in Virginia in 1782, moved to Nelson County with his
father, Coleman Duncan.  Married Nancy Hammond in Bardstown in 1806, and
shortly thereafter moved to east Logan County; later becoming Simpson
County.  He was a member of the Commission to resurvey the state line in
1831.  Built the inn used by the dentist.

The Franklin ? (missing), dated June 29, 1962.
