KY Will Book C p. 277 In the name of God Amen I CHRISTIAN WOOLF of Nelson County in the State of Kentucky being advanced in years but of perfect sound mind and understanding and memory thanks be to God for the same, do this Twenty eighth day of march one thousand Eight hundred and fourteen make and ordain this my last will and testament in manner and form following. first I recommend my should in the hands of God and my Body to the Earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my hereunto named executor and for my worldly effects wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me with in life I dispose and direct the same in manner following. first I will that my just debts funeral Charges with the probate hereof be Duly satisfied and paid out of my whole Estate by my executor. I give and Divise unto my beloved wife CATHERINE WOOLF all my Personal Estate during her life and after her Death the property to be divided amongst my four Daughters each an Equal part to them or their heirs: CATHARINE, ELIZABETH, BARBARY, CHRISTIANE and I will and bequeath my three Nephews namely SAMUEL HAFFLEY, JACOB HAFFLEY and ELIA HAFFLEY sons of my Daughter ELIZABETH Each of them one colt out of my Mare of which SAMUEL HAFFLEY has receipt his.
