He arrived in Mason Co. about 1790-5 and possible wife is Sarah/Sally JONES. His children: Susan b 1792 married Joseph SUMRALL in Nicholas Co. 1815; Elizabeth (Betsey) b 1788 married Walter LACY in Mason Co. 1815; Virginia b 1799 married John TRIPLETT in Mason Co. 1827; Mary married Andrew F. McMILLAN unknown date & place but they lived in Harrison Co.; Daniel Thomas Jonathan Clarke b 1789 married Ednah Pepper (Daughter of Samuel Pepper 1725-1799) in Mason Co. 1817; and Thomas Clarke unknown if he ever married. Benjamin had dealings in Nicholas, Fleming and Mason Counties. He owned a grist mill, large amounts of land, and horses. He is reputed to have had the first horse race track in Kentucky which was in operation on his farm 2 miles south of Maysville on Rt. 68. I am searching for any information on Benjamin. Some of his children were born in Virginia but I need location/Counties and especially where Benjamin might have been born.
