Jones, Garrard Jones, Sally Jones & Jane C. Jones, Heirs and residuary Legatees of Thomas Jones Deceased of the County of Bourbon and state of Kentucky of the one part and Jacob Bellos (sic) of the County of Nicholas and State of the Other Part -- Witnesseth that the said Thomas Jones, Garrard, Sally, & Jane Jones, Heirs and residuary legatees as aforesaid for and in consideration of the sum of Two hundred and Twenty seven Dollars forty cents have Granted Bargained and sold and to buy these presents Grant Bargain and sell unto the said Jacob Bellos a certain tract or parcel of Land containing one hundred acres (Part of ?Dwal? Keevers Survey of four thousand six hundred acres) lying on the Brushy fork of Hinkston and bounded as follows towit, -- Beginning at a black ash corner to Mr. McCormack and Running from fence South five West eighty nine Poles to a Dogwood, Thence West Twenty four Poles to a stone Pile near a branch, Thence South one hundred and thirty six Poles to a blue ash, Thence East fifty Two and a half Poles to three Beeches and Elm, Thence north Twenty and three fourths East one hundred and eighty eight Poles to a Stake Keevers Line, Thence north sixty West ninety six and a half Poles to the Beginning: -- To have and to hold the said Tract or parcel of Land to him the said Jacob Bellos or his Heirs (?-?) forever, and the said Thomas Jones, James W. Jones, Garrard Jones, Sally & Jane C. Jones, Heirs residuary legatees of said Thomas Jones Deceased do by these Presents warrant and defend the said tract of land of one hundred acres to the said Jacob Bellos against the claim of themselves and all Persons claiming by or through or under them and do warrant the said one hundred acres against the claim of Thomas ?Aloock? against the claim of(?-?)Keever and against the claim of David ?Leech? & John Fowler to the Extent of assets which may hereafter come into their hands - Given under our hands & seals the day and date first above written.
