Crouch, 1871 (Blount Grave Yard exclusion) This Deed between Andrew F. Blount and Rebecca Blount his wife of Nicholas County Kentucky of the first part and Thomas J. Crouch of the County and State aforesaid of the second part. Witnesseth that the said party of the first part in Consideration of Three Thousand Two hundred Dollars ($3200) Sixteen Hundred Dollars ($1600) thereof in hand paid Eight Hundred Dollars ($800) thereof due and payable on the first day of March 1872 and the remaining Eight Hundred dollars ($800) due and payable on the first day of March 1873 for which payments said part of the second part has executed his promissory note and to secure the payment of which a lien is retained on the land herein conveyed the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged do hereby sell, grant and convey unto the party of the second part and his heirs and assigns the following property viz. The equal undivided two thirds (2/3) of the following tract of land lying in Nicholas County Kentucky on the Waters of Hinkson Creek and bounded as follows to wit. Beginning at a black Walnut Corner to W. Jewell. Thence S..W...to a white oak and Hickory Corner to Jasper Slead thence N..W...to a Honey locust stump Corner to Wm. Northcut and said Slead Thence N...E... to a stone corner to J. W. Sears thence N...E...to a stone corner to Sears Thence S...E...to an elm and Walnut corner to J. Sears S...E...to a stone corner to J. Sears Thence S...W...to a stone corner to Molers Heins (?) Thence N...E...to a white Hickory corner to A. Arnold Thence S...E...to a stone corner to W. Jewells...Couchs line Thence S...W...to a stone corner to Jewells Thence S...W...to a black walnut corner to Jewell thence N...E...to the beginning. Containing one hundred and six acres (106) level measure. It being the same tract of land of which Hezekiah Blount decd. died seized and possessed excepting out of said boundary the grave yard as it now stands inclosed with a stone wall the interest hereby Conveyed being the undivided two thirds (2/3) of said tract of land to have and to hold the same with all the appurtenances thereon to the second party and his heirs and assigns forever with covenant of general warranty.
