MILDRED BLEVINS

Mildred Blevins, 47, of Carlisle, wife of Terry Blevins, died Saturday,
November 2, 2003. She was born in Flatwoods to Phebie Dillow Bush and the
late William Bush.
She was a licensed practical nurse employed at Pine Meadows Nursing Home in
Lexington. She was a member of the Kentucky Nurses Association. She was
affiliated with the Baptist church.
Other survivors include: a son - John Sauer, Carlisle; a step daughter -
Terry Mackenzie Blevins, Carlisle; five sisters - Jean Griffith of Grayson,
Sharon Stevens and Martha Parsons of Westwood, Sue Castle of Flatwoods, and
Barbara Kite, Alabama; and two grandchildren.
Services were conducted Thursday, November 6, at the Carman Funeral Home in
Flatwoods by Walter Meyer. Burial followed in the Bush Family Cemetery in
Wurtland.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
