CLAY COMER       Avelyn L. Comer, 83, of Indianapolis, Indiana, widow of Rev. A. Vance Comer, died Friday, October 10, 2003, at Northwest Manor Nursing Home. She was a native of Nicholas County, daughter of the late George W. Clay & Dora Clark Clay.       Survivors include: one daughter - Angelyn Garcia, son-in-law Patrick Garcia & a stepgrandson-in-law, Colin Garcia, Indianapolis, Indiana; a sister - Kathryn Clay Moore, Carlisle; two nieces - Doris C. Landon of Oxford, Mississippi, and Kay G. Shumate, Paris; two nephews - Paul D. George of Millersburg and Billy C. George, Carlisle; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.       She was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert C. George and Dr. William M. Clay.       Services were conducted Monday, October 13, at Neal Funeral Home in Louisville, Illinois, with interment in Louisville Cemetery. [c560001.txt]
