She was born in Nicholas County to the late Ben C. & Daisy Huffstetter Huddleson.       She started her education in the Taylors Creek School and graduated from Carlisle High School and the University of Kentucky. She was an elementary school teacher for 46 years, teaching at Taylors Creek, Parks, Headquarters, Millersburg, Ruddles Mill, Carlisle Elementary and Nicholas County Elementary.       She was a member of the VFW Ladies' Auxiliary and a life member of Kentucky Congress of Parents & Teachers and the Carlisle Christian Church. She was a past member of the Johnson Mathers Health Care Auxiliary with 1,100 hours of volunteer service and was a lifetime member of Paris-Marie Chapter O.E.S. #167.       Survivors are: a brother - Clayton Huddleson, Paris; two nieces - Wanda H. Richard of Paris and Judy Dorsey, Hartville, Ohio; and cousins Betty Barton, Madeline Hunt and Dorothy Eads.       She was preceded in death by a brother, Walter Huddleson.       Services were conducted Saturday, October 18, at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home by Rev. Steve Smith. Burial was in Carlisle Cemetery.       Casket bearers were Billy Wayne Barton, Kenny Humphries, W. C. Jefferson, Sam Reynolds, Eddie Richard & Bill Stamper.       Honorary bearers were Jock Conley, Paul Donovan, Innis Ockerman & Charlie Prather.       Contributions are suggested to Carlisle Christian Church or Johnson Mathers Nursing Home Activities Fund.
