She was born in Nicholas County, daughter of the late Earl Amos & Carrie Ann Revel Watkins. She attended Bourbon County schools, retired from Hansley Mills and was a member of Hutchinson United Methodist Church. She is survived by: a daughter - Elizabeth Moreland (& Marvin) Barker, Lexington; a son - Bobby (& Jane) Moreland, Paris; two step-daughters: Laura (& Bill) Smits of Paris and Martha Johnson, Georgetown; four grandchildren; Pam (& Dan) Easley, Mark (& Mary) Moreland, Robert (& Charlotte) Moreland and Robin (& Katie) Osborne; six step-grandchildren - Jan Smits, Lana Sullivan, Jill Winings, Sherry Wilson, Mary Lou Scarbough and Elaine Wisby; three Sisters - Helen Price of Cynthiana and Bertha Stamper and Frances Wallace, Lexington. three half brothers - Harvey Watkins of Clark County and Tom and Don Watkins; Paris. 10 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by: a step-son, Frank Moreland; a step-daughter, Grace Wilson; a grandson, Ricky Osborne; two step-grandchildren, Tom Moreland and Joan Ferguson; a sister, Dixie Brown; two brothers, John and Edward Watkins; and a half brother, Jerry Watkins. Services were conducted Saturday, November 15, at Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home with Dr. Bill Davis and long time family friend Dr. Harold Dorsey officiating. Interment was in Paris Cemetery. Pallbearers were Mark and Robert Moreland, Robin Osborne, Jarrod Dungan, Derek Moreland and Scott Osborne. Honorary allbearers were Milton Moreland, O. B. Reynolds, Eugene Watkins, Gene Wagner, Paul Stith, Brad Burtner, Earl Watkins, Ronald Watkins and Don Watkins Jr. The family expresses sincere gratitude and appreciation for the care they received from Hospice.
