Harbett. To the creditors of C. W. Harbett in the county of Nicholas and District aforesaid, a bankrupt.Notice is hereby given that on Thursday, the 8th day of August, 1912, at 10 o'clock, a. m., there will be a final meeting of the creditors of the above named bankrupt held at law office of U. M. Swinford, Carlisle, Ky., for the purpose of passing upon the accounts of the Trustee, declaring a dividend, authorizing the sale of uncollected accounts at a sum to be fixed, and transacting such other business as may properly come before said meeting, and finally closing the affairs of the estate of said bankrupt. Dated at Cynthiana, Ky. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Progressive Party Organized At a public meeting held in the Court house, Saturday afternoon, July 27th, 1912, in response to a call made by Hon. Leslie Combs, Provisional Committeeman for the Progressive Party, the following proceedings were had: The meeting was called to order at 2 o'clock, by jas A. Fisher, who stated the object of the gathering to be the temporary organization of the Progressive party, the naming of the delegates to attend the Ninth District meeting to be held at Ashland on the 1st day of August, 1912, the choosing of a County Executive Committee and such other business as might be brought before the meeting. On motion John G. Blair was election Chairman and Chas. H. Williams, Secretary. Upon taking the chair Mr. Blair make a short talk endorsing the movement and asking all voters present to take part in the organization. On motion L. E. Feeback, Sam'l Kimes, Sr., and Jas. A. Fisher were appointed a Committee to make recommendation for precinct Committeemen and delegates to the district Convention. After a time the Committee reported as follows: viz: For delegates to the District Convention: Jno. G. Blair, A. A. Dale, L.E. Feeback; Jas. A. Fisher, Sam'l Kimes, Jr. Jno O. King, C. H. Williams, Dr. Roy McIntire, Jas. Lawson, H. T. Cartee, Gaither Blair, J. Waldridge, Henry flora, Mike Myers, Smith Weaver, Robert Brierley and Blaine Brierley. For County Executive Committee: A. A. Dale, Chairman; Hog Jaw, Henry Feeback; Bald Hill, Daniel Wells; Miranda, Frank Scott; Buzzard Roost, Mike Myers; Shanklin's Shop, Dr. A. H. Durrum; Sim's store, Henry Flora; Goose Creek, Thomas Waldridge; Engine House, Jesse Parsons; Headquarters, Jas. Lawson; Mayor's Office, L. E. Feeback; East Union, Robert Brierley; Mathias;' Shop, Jas. A. Fisher. On motion the reports and recommendations of the Committee were adopted. After a short talk by L. E.
