He was born in Paris, a son of the late John Donald and Hazel Smith Robinson.       He was a 21 year employee of the Nicholas County Board of Education. He was a US Army Veteran and was a member of the post #165.       Survivors include: one daughter - Shanda (& Greg) Conner, Winchester; an aunt - Ethel Smith, Paris; three sisters - Yetta (& Earl) Jackson of Lexington and Anita Robinson & Juanita Robinson Jackson, Paris; four brothers - Bernard Smith, McClellan (& Johnetta) Robinson, Eugene Robinson and Harold (& Barbara) Robinson of Paris; two grandsons - Maurice Strawder and Joshua Strawder; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; and special friends Mr. & Mrs. George Bradley and son Clark Dale, and Roy Scott.       Graveside services were held Monday, October 20, at Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Nicholasville. Burial followed in the Camp Nelson National Cemetery with military rites by the US Army Color Guard from Fort Knox.       Pallbearers were members of the family.       Arrangements were by Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, Paris.
