He was born in Bourbon County, son of the late James Thomas & Gertrude Evans Tubbs. He was a farmer and a graduate of Bourbon County High School. He enjoyed fishing and playing Bingo. Survivors include: two sons - James (& Kelly) Tubbs of Elkhart, Indiana, and Timothy Tubbs of Bristol, Indiana; a daughter - Tanya Tubbs of Elkhart, Indiana; four brothers - Charlie (& Christine) Tubbs, James (& Gertrude) Tubbs and Sonder Tubbs of Paris and Billy (& Terri) Tubbs, Sharpsburg; three sisters - Henrietta (& Earl) White of Sharpsburg, Patsy (& Herbert) Campbell of Louisville and Mary (& Sherman) Mitchell, Paris; and seven grandchildren - Courtney Swinson, Tawny Tubbs, Sabrina Hartwig, Dylan Tubbs, Shania Tubbs, Phillip Tubbs and Alexis Tubbs. He was preceded in death by: two brothers - Jerry and Bobby Tubbs; and four sisters - Edna Tubbs, Bessie Franklin, Barbara Tubbs and Marlene Terrell. Services were conducted Thursday, November 13, at the Paris Cemetery with Bro. William Singleton officiating. Burial followed in Paris Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jimmy White, Anthony White, Michael Spencer, Ricky Spencer, Dennis LeMaster and Daniel Dampier. Honorary Pallbearers were Earl White, Sherman Mitchell and Seth Truitt. [t120001.txt]
