VOYLES CHAPPELL CEMETERY

This cemetery is located in the old Bethel community off the road 
leading past old Bethel Methodist Church to the Hellls Neck section 
of Ohio County. Some may say it is between the Bethel and Vine Hill 
community. A church once stood here but Burned some time ago. The 
building was a small country church and after it was built the roof 
of the building swayed in the middle and many old timers refer to 
the church as Old Swayback. It covers about one quarter acre 
surrounded by large white and black oak trees.

Clifford Minton’s full name was William Clifford Minton, at the foot 
of and to the left of his grave with no marker are his Grandparents, 
William Tom Minton 9/6/1860--4/8/1942 and Margaret Magnola Hurt 
Minton 2/1/1866--3/15/1937. The Rev. A. P. Minton’s first name is 
Alexander.
