Hunter was appointed guardian for Sarah Westerfield and Frances Westerfield who were minors of William Westerfield, with one of the sureties being James Hunter. *Ohio Co. Mar. H. WESTERFIELD in part 1. In the 1880 Daviess Co. census, Whitesville #282 James and Sarah HUNTER, she born MO., are listed with children including a son named Adelbert. In part 1 see that Wm. and Frances WESTERFIELD had a nephew Dell HUNTER living withe them in the 1900 census. Evidence which I have collected seems to indicate that Sarah and Frances were daughters of William I/J Westerfield, a brother of Cornelius Westerfield,jr, the father of Wm. H. RALPH et at Defendants, [Note: This suit is nearly 100 pages long. It is regarding land on the Ohio/Daviess county line owned by Cornelius WESTERFIELD, sr, who d. July 30, 1852, which he willed to his wife, Elizabeth, nee BRUCE, during her lifetime, then to his children, equally, upon her death. In the original petition of the plaintiff had a long list of the heirs who were know to him .Then in an amended petition, dated 27 March 1895,on frame 294 of the microfilm with page 13 in the corner of the filmed paper, the plaintiff added the names of additional heirs which he had discovered including the following (my capitals): "...That William WESTERFIELD a son of Cornelius WESTERFIELD is now dead leaving surviving him four daughters one who married a Mr. WOOD Matt who married W. B. HUNTER Sarah who married Jas.
