This cemetery is located in Owsley County, on a knoll near the mouth of
Travis Creek where it joins Big Sturgeon Creek near route 1071.  The
cemetery measures approximetely 104' by 48' and contains 33 graves.  15
of the graves are marked with monuments, the remainder with uninscribed
field stones.

Buried in some of the graves marked only with field stones are William
Clark's children: Sarah J. Clark Nigh, 16 Jun 1834 to 17 Feb 1889;
Martha Clark, 1842 to 3 Feb 1889, and Lucinda Clark, 1844 to 24 Aug
1853.  Others are Sarah Clark Nigh's son Samuel Nigh, 14 Feb 1853 to 13
Jan 1889.  William H. Scott, 25 May 1853 to 26 Sep 1900 and his wife
(daughter of Sarah) Tabitha R. Nigh Scott, 22 Aug 1857 to 1926.  Some of
their children are Anderson C. Scott, 3 Mar 1880 to 1 Mar 1903, James A.
Scott, 31 Jul 1881 to 26 Oct 1884, Eva L. Scott, 18 Mar 1893 to 18 Sep
1900, and Lelah G. Scott, 9 Aug 1899 to 28 Sep 1900.
