If he shall Notwithstanding persist, the vote of the church shall be taken by the Moderator as to his disorder, and if found guilty He shall instantly be silent, or otherwise delt with for disorder, and excluded unless he makes acknowledgments to the church. Resolved unanimously by the church that we again call our beloved Brother Blackstone L. Abernathy to the Pastorial care of this church, and request that he will Attend as our preacher and Moderator without day, but as long as convenient to himself. Ordered that our church meeting for the future be held the saturday preceeding the second Lords day in each and every month Motioned & seconted that whereas there is a misrepresentation or false hood in circulation relative to the North Fork church disapprobating the Gospel as preached by Brother B.L. Abernathy, put in circulation by brother Gruwell, this church Investigate the same & that Brother Jacob Forsythe notify Brother Gruwell & Winn notify brother Robert Buoy & request him to attend our next church Meeting fer the purpose of investigating the report (Carried) Adjourned untill meeting in course Wm. Browning Modr Pro Tem Attest M Winn February 1830 - At the church meeting held at Rich Land Meeting House on the Second Saturday in February 1830 the Members present took their Seats & Brethern of Sister Churches were likewise invited to seats, & proceeded to business The dificulty refered to at our last church meeting as regards Brother Gruwell is continued untill our next Meeting & Brethren Silas King & Laughton are appointed as a committee to get the Brethren Gruwell & Robert Buoy together and imdeavor to settle the matter & report to our next meeting. Brother Forrest, wife & Daughters asked letters of Dismission which were granted. Sister Eliza McCarty presented her letter of Dismission from the church at the Forks of Licking & was recvd. with us Adjourned untill meeting in course. B.L. Abernathy Mod attest M. Winn clk March 1830 - At a church meeting held at Richland Meeting house the second saturday in March 1830 the members present tok there seats & proceeded to business. The reference at our last meeting as regards the misunderstanding between Brother Gruwell & Robert Buoy which was referred to Brethron Silas King & Laughtob as a Committee to m eet the Brethron or rather to get the Brethron together to talk over the matter & Try to come to an Understanding & report progress to our next meeting The Brethron & Committee not meeting in persuance of Said order & Brother Buoy prefering to make his statement to the church in person and after getting to the meeting house Brethrn Buoy & Gruwell had a an Interview. It Turned out to be a Misunderstanding --- Brother Gruwell Understoon Brother Buoy to say that the majority of the north Fork church was going Back to join the minority; whereas Brother Buoy intended to convey the Ida that the majority were willing to go to the meeting house & take there day about If (they would Open the door) with their own preacher, the church was reconciled Adjourned Untile meeting in course,. Wm. Browning Mod. attest M. Winn March 1831 - At a Church meeting held at Richland Meeting House on the seckond saturday of the month aforesaid & after worship, in due order proceed to business. Granted our beloved Br. & Sister, John Laughlin & Wife letters of dismission and appointed Br. Jno. Holton Clerk in place of Br and said sd. Br. Trustee in sted of Br. John Laughlin. By Order of the Church. Br. B.L. Abernathy Modr. Br. Clk. absent & Br. Holton agreeably to appoint officiates July 1835 - Sister Cilicia Pollard obeyed the Gospel and become a member of the Church of Jesus Christ at Richland Creek Jno. Holton Clk. Do 30 --- - Congregation met, Br. Joseph Mitchel after prayer praise & thianksgiving taught the congregation from a part of Paul's Epistle to the romans, then broke bread and ajourned. Jno. Holton Clerk (this is a mistake being on the rong page) November 1831 - At a meeting of the Church at Richland Meeting house on Saturday before the first Sunday in November 1831 Elizabeth Rawlings and Adams having been immersed for admission into the CHurch and were received in full fellowship.
