This Indenture made this 13th day of June 1874 between William Grizzle, George Grizzle and John Grizzle of the first part and Patrick Acton and Margaret Actow of the second part. Witnesseth that the parties of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of One hundred dollars and forty cents in hand paid to the said John Grizzle the receipt of which the said John Grizzle does hereby acknowledge, Have bargained and sold with the said Patrick and Margaret Actow the following Real Estate in Pendleton County Kentucky. On the waters of Grassy Creek and founded and described as follows: beginning at a stone Red Oak and Hickory, said Actows corner, thence N42 1/2 E40 poles to a stone near a Hickory and xxx in a branch and down the same S9 deg W27 poles to above pile in Wm F. Griffuis line, thence N3 1/2 E3 1/2 poles to a Honey Locust, corner to Tobias Bunke and with his line S17 E45 poles to a Red Oak another of Bunkes corners thence S17 degrees W19 poles to an Elm on old corner, thence N84 1/2 W34 poles to the beginning, containing Five acres, two Roods and xxx poles. xxx To hold the same together with all the privileges and appurtenances with the xxx belonging with the said grantees their heirs and assigns forever and the said grantors hereby covenant that they will forever warrant and defend the same against the claim or claims of all persons whosoever. xxx xxx whereof the said grantors together with Ann Eliza Grizzle, wife of the said William, and Frances Grizzle, wife of the said John Grizzle, who hereby relinguishes all right to dower and Homestead have herewith set their hands this day and date first above written.
