All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/ky/kyfiles.html **************************************************************************** DEED: Grizzle & Sullivan, 1882, Pendleton Co., KY Pendleton County Kentucky Clerk of the County Court Book 33, Page 177 1882.Ind This Indenture made and entered into this 24th day of November 1882, between John Grizzel and his wife Francis Grizzel of Pendleton County Kentucky of the first part, and Catherine Sullivan of Pendleton County, Kentucky of the second part, Witnesseth, that said party of the first part, in consideration of Five hundred and seventeen 50/100 dollars in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged does hereby bargain, sell and convey unto said party of the second part her heirs and assigns, the following described Real Estate in Pendleton County, Kentucky; one certain lot or parcel of land situate on the East Fork of Grassy Creek described as follows to wit, Beginning at a Red Oak at 1 thence N44 E40 poles to a hickory in a branch, thence N4 W28 poles to a stone pile in a branch thence down the same N76 1/2 W53 poles to a stone, thence S5 1/2 W40 poles to a stone in Tim Sulivan's line and with his line S47 E43 poles to the beginning containing seventeen acres and one rood. To have and to hold the said premises, together with all the privileges and appurtenances to the same belonging, unto said party of the second part her heirs and assigns forever with covenant of general warranty. In Witness Whereof, the said John Grizzle together with Francis Grizzle his wife who hereby relinguishes her right to dower, and each of whom hereby waive all right to homestead exemption, in the premises hereby conveyed have hereunto set their hands the day and date first above written.
