I John Grizzle of the County of Pendleton and State of Kentucky, being of sound mind and, memory do make, publish and declare this to be my last will and testament hereby revoking and making void all former wills by me at any time heretofore made. First, I order and direct that my executor as soon after my decease as practicable to pay off and discharge all the debts dues and liabilities that may exist against me at the time of my decease. Second, I will that my son John Grizzle take the entire farm from this date and with the help of the younger brothers and to have charge of the entire stock and farming implements until the present land debt is paid in consideration of which I will him thirty acres of the west end of the farm commencing with the Sam Blackburn line and running so as to include the dwelling house formerly occupied by Wm Grizzle and to be in good form. Third, I will that my wife Francis Grizzle after my decease and the present indebtedness is paid that the remaining seventy acres shall remain under her control during her natural life with the control of the stock and farming implements that may be upon the farm at that time and at the time of her decease, I desire the seventy acres of land with the personal property to be divided equal between all of my children. Fourth, I hereby nominate and appoint my son John Grizzle as my executor. In witness whereof, I have hereunto subscribed my name this February 1st, 1887. John Grizzel The above and foregoing instrument at the date thereof signed sealed published and declared by the said John Grizzle as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us who at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses. Yellow, Pendleton County, KY William Grizzel, Pendleton County, KY State of Kentucky September Term Pendleton County Court September 5, 1887 The foregoing instrument of writing purporting to be the last will and testament of John Grizzel deceased, was this day filed and proven by the oaths of Charles Yellow and William Grizzle two of the subscribing witnesses thereto whereupon it is ordered that siad instrument be and the same is hereby allowed and established as and for the new true last will and testament of said decedent and that, as such, it be admitted to record, which is accordingly done as above.
