Henry Gilbert: Perry County, Kentucky Henry Gilbert and Wife to / deed John Gilbert This deed made the 12th day of December, 1905 between Henry Gilbert and wife, Martha, of the first part, and John Gilbert of the second part, Witnesseth, that for and in consideration of twenty five dollars in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, the said party of the first part does hereby sell, and convey to the party of the second part, his heirs and assigns a certain tract of land, situated in Perry County, Kentucky, on the Long Fork of Squabble Creek, waters of the Middle Fork of the Kentucky River, and bounded as follows, viz:- Beginning on a beech on the right hand side of the creek near the Splash Dam: thence a square line to the top of the point on the right hand side; thence up the point to the Owsley County line; thence around the ridge to Adella Gilbert line; thence with said linecrossing said Long Fork to Adella Gilbert corner; thence down the creek to the beginning. Including all the land I hold in said boundary. To have and to hold the same with its appurtenances unto the party of the second part, his heirs and assigns forever with covenant and general warranty. Johnson, Clerk of the county court for the county and state aforesaid, do certify that the foregoing deed from Henry Gilbert and wife to John Gilbert was on the 12th day of December, 1905, produced to me in my county and acknowledged before me in due form of law by Henry Gilbert and Martha Gilbert to be their own act and deed.
