Davidson and Josiah H. Combs are firmly bound into the Commonwealth of Kentucky in the sum of $50 to the payment whereof well and truly to be made, we bind ourselves, our heirs & C (?) jointly and severally firmly by these pursuits, sealed with our seals and dated this 1st day of April 1849. The condition of the above obligation is such, that whereas a marriage is shortly intended to be saliviged (I can't make out the word) between the above bound Benjamin D. Davidson and Sarah Combs of this County.
