The mystery of ransom slone the son of malcomb Mack slone and Elizabeth betts Adkins
both of Fishtrap 
Kentucky in 1943 ransom enlisted in the military and was stationed in Huntington
West Virginia and in 1945 
ransom was discharged from the military and got to go home to his father Mack slone
and mother 
Elizabeth slone and on February 24 1957 ransom father Mack slone passed away at the
age of 65 years 
old in his sleep at the age of 65 years old and he was buried on February 26 1957 in
kimper Kentucky and 
on October 29 1957 ransom married Martha Chaney the daughter of Jesse James Chaney
and zettie Kate 
Chaney and they had 4 children named billy ray slone born November 11 1958 of kimper
Kentucky and 
Jesse James slone born august 23 1960 of kimper Kentucky and Jonathan slone born
June 5 1963 of 
kimper Kentucky and Donny gene slone born April 9 1973 on December 26 1965 Jonathan
passed away as 
a baby at his parents residence and he was buried in Phyllis Kentucky and on October
5 1974 ransom 
mother Elizabeth passed away In the hospital at the age of 80 years old and was
buried in Phyllis Kentucky 
and soon after the death of his mother ransom was diagnosed with black lung and
heart disease and in 
1975 ransom got his dream truck a 1975 Chevy c10 and on august 13 1975 ransom passed
away in his 
sleep at the age of 53 years old and he was buried in Phyllis Kentucky
