The Pike County, Kentucky native was born June 21, 1933, the daughter of the late Hendricks Trusty and Mary Brown Trusty York. She was the widow of Haskel Coleman, who passed away January 12, 1999. Mrs. Coleman was a retired cook from Plaza 52 and a former owner of the 10th Street Market. She was of the Baptist faith and avid crocheter. She lived most of her life in Lawrence County. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by: a son: Ervin Coleman 2 sisters: Dorothy Clark and Goldie Evans a brother: Fred Trusty She is survived by: 2 sons and daughters-in-law: JIm and Pamela Coleman and Larry and Naomi Coleman all of Ironton 4 daughters and sons-in-law: Esta and Larry Akers, Elaine and Robert Pyles, Kathy and Charles Harmon and Marjorie and Mike Corbin all of Ironton a brother: Paul Trusty of Garden City, Michigan 3 sisters: Roberta Gibson of Pikeville, Kentucky, Bess Hickman of Newark, Delaware and Lola Barlow of North Carolina 14 grandchildren 13 great grandchildren Funeral service will be Saturday (December 9, 2006) at 11:00 AM at Hayes-Phillips Funeral Home, 509 South 6th Street, Ironton, Ohio with Rev. Gale Lavender officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Friday 6-9 PM at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Robert Sheffey, Eric Pyles, Devon Harmon, Jimmy Akers, Mikey Henderson and Charlie Harmon.
