John Paul Daniels, 93, of Royal Oak, Mich., formerly of 
Pike County, died Saturday, Nov. 4, 2006, at his residence.

He was born in Pike County, Aug. 24, 1913, a son of the 
late G.C. Daniels Sr. and Eunice Maynard Daniels.

He was self-employed and worked for Pennsylvania 
Railroad.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Ratliff Daniels; 
one brother, Eugene Daniels; and one sister, Fay Francisco.

He is survived by three brothers, G.C. Daniels Jr., Charles 
Daniels and Clinton Daniels, all of Pikeville; three sisters, 
Ethel Talentinow of Huntington, W.Va., Goldia Luster and 
June D. Bryant, both of Pikeville.

A private service will be held with burial following in the 
Roseland Park Cemetery, Berkley, Mich. Obituary courtesy 
of J.W. Call Funeral Home of Pikeville.
