Davidson, 86, of Summit, Ky., died Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2006, in King’s Daughters Medical Center. Mr. Davidson was born Aug. 22, 1920, in Jenkins, Ky., a son of the late Garrett and Pearl Baker Davidson. He was a member of Second Freewill Baptist Church in Ashland and a former member of the Rush Masonic Lodge No. 715 F&AM where he had served as past master. He was a retired engineer with the Kentucky Power Company. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Ruth Davis Davidson, on Oct. 3, 2006; a daughter, Donna Mae Kiser in 1999; a brother, G.H. Davidson; and a sister, Beulah “Bill” Hamilton. Mr. Davidson is survived by a daughter, Teresa Clevenger of Graydon Heights in Catlettsburg; a brother, Erwin Davidson of Salem, Va.; two sisters, Mary Mullins of Roanoke, Va., and Pauline Dockery of Wise, Va.; six grandchildren, Tara Clevenger, Bryan Clevenger, Scott Kiser, Trina Kiser Litteral, Kelli Kiser Goldie and Amanda Kiser Bell; and eight great-grandchildren, Troy Goldie, Tiffany Goldie, J.T. Goldie, Trevor Litteral, Trent Litteral, Dylan Clevenger, Breanna Clevenger and Brooklyn Clevenger. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland, Ky . The Rev. Willard Nolen will officiate.
